best place to get wheels refinished.

I don't have any curb rash or any nicks but was wanting to get the finish redone. I'm assuming they would be powder coated.

Any ideas on a reputable place in DFW to refinish the wheels.

I just went through Discount Tire and they charged $135 per wheel, PLUS Unmounting, Mounting and Balancing charges...whew...that was a mistake.

They just ship them off to Wheels America anyhow...I suggest going straight to them. And they still charge for the unmount/mount part. But Im sure it wont be as much.

Trust the members in your area....!

Why not use the tools Driver has supplied you with? Go to Regional Forums,
then the area that applies to you and finally the sticky called Unofficial Shop
Directory. You should find a wheel refinishing shop in your area with the
information supplied by the members in the Texas area....worked for me in
the SoCal area!

I had my wheel (singular) done at Wheels America. While the finish was flawless it was a different color than the rest which I never noticed until several days later. In fact the color looks like there is a light coating of brake dust which is why I never noticed until I tried to wipe it off after getting out of work on a nice bright @$$ day.

So +1 for Wheels America if your doing all 4
Or -1 if you only need 1 done

Wheels America in San Antonio fubared a set of 3 piece wheels I had. I sent them back 4 times to be fixed and they were welded like crap and cracked again every time. After sending them back the 5th time I said I wanted my money back and they finally agreed. A month later I had to call them over and over again just to find out where my wheels were. I finally got them back with the paint scratched on all 4 wheels and 3 stickers on every wheels face I still have not gotten off. Another month later after I still did not have my money back and had to call over and over and finally to the cooperate office to get my money back. Long story short I have 2 junk wheels that can't be fixed or replaced so in all 4 paper weights and hours and hours of my time wasted. I throw a set of wheels in the trash before dealing with wheels America again.
