Yeah, the red leather really looks great. although, I think I'd prefer it in a black car instead of Malbec Black, which is essentially a super dark purple.

As far as mileage, the sticker shows 19/27. Overall, I think it's showing around 18-19ish. Tuesday night I chased my buddy in his modded 540i around on back, twisty roads for about 120 miles. I averaged 15.4mpg during that drive. Not too bad I guess.

It's the auto, which I was bummed about, but I'm really enjoying the paddle shifters. The shifts in manual mode could be a bit faster, but otherwise the programming is pretty impressive. I'd still take the 6MT though.

 

I saw that sedan at Cars and Coffee, I was wondering what all the decals were about.

 

I'm glad someone noticed it. My buddy's 540 seemed to draw all the attention. Understandably though...it looks great and he had more gear/electronics set up inside his car.

 

What sucks is the other 3 cars from DFW who ran Dustball this time didn't show up. We had a Vantage roadster, an STi, and a GT3 as well.

Honestly, I didn't actually run my car in Dustball 1000 a couple weeks ago. I only did last summer for the 1500. But since all the other cars bailed on C&C and since we had some extra decals, I threw them on the car so the 540 wouldn't be lonely out there.

And I also saw your sedan with all the decals on it at C&C, and the dust lol. I was wondering too since it was clean the last time I saw it at a C&C meet.

Naw, I didn't show my car. Got there around 9 so there wouldn't be any spots anyway. Heck, my brother in laws boss who has a Lambo Murcielago LP 670-4 SV showed up at 9:30 and had to park in the service parking lot.

Didn't see too many G's out there either, but did see a few members. I'll prob be out there next month, pending school doesn't bog me down lol.
