Beware Carrollton, Grew up there, and found out at a very young age that CPD has little, if not nothing, else to do other than harass and fine its citizens to pad their pockets. Sad but true

Got a police dash cam video of my lovely G and a gleaming example of how officers of the law should NOT act. Thank you Carrollton PD for yet another volume to add to the archives of documentation on police harrassment in C-town.

I've only been pulled over by Carrollton PD once. This was quite a few years ago now, so it doesn't matter. A buddy of mine and I were heading down GB towards 35 driving spiritedly, me in my G and him in his G sedan (both 06). He was easily pushin 110 when I spotted the cop and slowed down. The cop pulled ME over and said he clocked me at 90. He asked why I was going so fast and in my usual blunt response I told him I was just in a good mood, listening to good music, in beautiful weather, with the windows down and sunroof back enjoying a nice Sunday morning. He chuckled and mentioned he had heard similar excuses before, so he offered to write me a ticket for a lesser speed so I could do defensive driving. Still gave me a ticket which kinda sucked, but it DEFINITELY could have been much worse.

lucked out. Not too many people with stories like yours in Carrollton heh. I wish I was that fortunate. Sadly, most stories I hear(d) are quite contrary, I suppose since I grew up there and since I went to high school there. Probably a spike in offences around those ages groups haha. And not many got off scott free (where'd that saying come from anyway?)

The way you feel about Carrollton is how I feel about Richardson PD... they picked on me a lot as a kid and I gave them **** for it... now days I'm ridiculously blunt and honest with cops.. it's gotten me out of more **** than I can possibly tell you

I grew up in Carrollton and have a number of tickets, but I can't say I was innocent. I live in Carrollton now and if some dumb **** is acting up and breaking the law, Carrollton cops have my permission to put a boot in their a$$. lol

@3xaCharm - You probably would have found at an early AGE that no matter what city you were in......... oh ho yeah. I went there.

JD hates police everywhere. Carrollton is a drop in the ol bucket. :P

I lived on the corner of 2 jurisdictions, Both Carrollton and Dallas (traveled through Plano and Addison quite often as well). There was an extremely noticeable difference between the two's standards on pulling people over. For example, in Carrollton I had a d-bag cop pull me over for ILLEGAL SUSPENSION WTF is that?! I wasn't even slammed, still had a finger gap in the wheel well and camber kit so I wasn't all cambered out and stanced aggressively. To top it off he had a lisp... so it was almost like adding insult to injury having a lisping cop make a horrible attempt at explaining to you that you had illegal suspension. And let me tell you, suspension is a hard word to say with a lisp.

Oh and sticking with the origional direction of this thread, I saw a black G37 yesterday on Forest coming home at roughly 5:35 with some killer concave, looked to be 9 spoke(?) rims. Tried to see what they were but wasn't able to make out the brand in the midst of traffic and the roll we were traveling at. If you happen to be lurking, I'd love to know what kind of rims they are, they were super sexy.
