Question Can't decide on the tire size for a 20x9 and 20x10

Sup fellas, so I bought some 20" axis pentas custom chrome and I can't decide on what tire sizes to go with. I went to this thread(https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...ost-em-up.html) and saw some pretty extreme tire sizes. I was thinking of doing 235/30/20 in the front and 265/30/20 in the rear but not sure if that's too rough. I like the stretch look but with Dallas streets tho I might jack up my wheels really qik. I only drive the G on the weekends tho and drive my 240sx (kouki) as my daily driver. Let me know what yall think on the tire sizes...thanks guys.

Here's pics of the Axis Pentas custom chrome I bought:

That's a mild stretch and would work just fine.

those should look real nice on stretched tires. 30 series on the front will give you a ruff ride but since you only roll on the weekend you should be good. im running 20x9 front and 20x10 rear w/245/35 and 275/30. 235 and 265 will not stretch that much more though. GL

Thanks guys for the input. I might just go with the 235/30/20 in the front and 265/30/20 in the rear but who knows cuz I can really be indecisive sometimes so will see. TequilaG35 I might just keep the current wheels cuz imma black the wheels out completely. Knight rider style. So the G will have a dark side but if I change my mind I will let you know first....

I would go with a 245 and 275 for two reasons. I'm not a big fan of the stretch and those sizes are usually less expensive.

So after some research guys I decided to go with 235/35/20 in the front and 255/35/20 in the rear in toyo proxes which will be on my new set of Axis Pentas https://g35driver.com/forums/attachm...c-pics-098.jpg. AND THAT IS MY FINAL ANSWER . Here's what made my decision: https://g35driver.com/forums/sflg35-...hotoshoot.html

Yeah that G37 is nice looking! Has that guy stated somewhere that he's running 235's up front and 255's out back?

Yeah he stated his tires sizes on his thread https://g35driver.com/forums/sflg35-...re-wheels.html. Hopefully I'll put them on this weekend but now I need spacers and not sure what size. Imma need advice on that now. My offsets are 25+ all the way around. Any suggestions? I know Moog was selling some spacers. Need to probably get with him for advice.

Yeah I know. I figure I can get a safe stretch on those tire sizes. I'm getting the tire hook up from my friend at Discount Tire so I'm not spending a grip on tires and if I change my mind he can hook it up again.

Just a thought ... do you ever plan on tracking your car? With a semi-aggressive stretch you run the risk of rolling the tire off the bead...

No I don't have plans for that for the G. It's gna be more show that go. I have a 97 240sx kouki that I'm working on to set up as a drifter.

I wouldn't really worry about the tires rolling off the bead. I've never heard any evidence of it even in the drifting world.

Moog, I do remember you selling some spacers but I'm not sure what was the mm. I want that flush look and my axis are 25+ all around. What mm would you prefer?
