P0430 Code

So this code come up again after i erased it about a week ago and this is what the paper said from auto zone:
1. catalytic converter defective (failure possibly doe to #2, 3, or 4)
2. Engine misfire or running condition
3 large vacuum leak
4. engine oil leakage into exhaust valve guide seals, piston rings.
Calld the dealer and they want to charge me $200 for a Diagnostic... were else could i get a diagnostic done for less???

First question is what mods do you have on your car? Second question is what have you done recently to the car?

Well i had the same code come up like 2 months ago and it went away. Then it came up again last week. That same week after it came up i changed spark plugs and installed a Motordyne spacer.

I think this cooler air is just causing all sorts of headaches.

I threw P0420 this morning (high flow cats caused it).

Have you done any exhaust mods (HFC, test pipes, etc.)? Scraped your o2 sensor on anything LOL?

Could be clogged cats (heat buildup) or a bad O2 sensor. I know of many cars acting funny just from an O2 sensor going bad.
