Its not a matter of whats played out, its what YOU want. What will make you happy or satisfied.

If you have the money and the time, go get it and mod it. Its a personal preference.

i'm almost in the same boat as i am reallllyyyy wanting the new M3 sedan. But...if time serves me right, i will wait for the new CTS-V. I want room and big power, at the right price, they both fit my scope. Its just that the M3 might be a bit more expensive to maintain in the long run...time will tell. Don't get me wrong, the 335i is a very beautiful car and the G37 has a much better interior than my current car,but for now, IMO, the G35 with all its natural curves is still sexier than any G37 or 335i, and is easier on my wallet.

335 coupe and G35 coupe look equally good, just looks alone. I am interested in the 335 as my next car though. I mean invest 1k and get an extra 80HP or so. I like the idea of that.

I've owned a 540I 6spd with the M sport package, and man I loved that car. BMW's are absolutely fantastic vehicles. I was crazy about the 335i for a long time, my buddy has the hardtop convertible and took me for a ride, it has an excellent engine with great power. However, when I started looking at one more seriously, the convertible was out of my range, and I really didn't like teh interior of the sedan and coupe. The previous generation 3 series had a much sportier interior in my opinion, and the idea eventually died out, and now I am no longer interested in one.

If I were to by another bimmer in the future, I would get the 535i. Nowhere near as played out as the 335i.

Also I would never by one new, as you have to pay for everything as an extra option. But then when you buy it used, you better have extended warranty.

The G will never be played out. Just upgrade and get the G37. Or wait until Infiniti's new luxury coupe comes out. http://autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/238257/#
