Oh I bet that's a huge change in driving experience. I'm happy to go back to stock though. Less stress and worry overall. I will miss the loud whine and whoosh of this setup. I don't think my stock intake has been on the car since 2003. Bought a fresh paper air filter from Autozone too. I was there looking at air filters and saw they had a K&N application for me, which I was so tempted to buy. I still have the mod bug in me, but it's under control...hahah.

Congrats on the un-install, I guess. At least you'll be able to drive the car without worrying now, and you'll have some extra cash. Plus the car will still lok sexay
As for me, I just finished an Apex driving academy event at MSR this Saturday, temps were in the 80's towads the end of the day, was driving the car at 100% and the temp gauge didn't rise a milimeter above normal. So it's all in the install and tune really. Others should not be discouraged by the return to stock you are doing, they should just make sure they get a tune they are comfortable with!
Jon, I'm finally learning how to drive on a track, I got solo approved

So sad, I've been driving Vortech boosted since March 2006 and have not regretted it for an instant and can't imagine going back!!!
Congrats Adam!! Maybe next time there won't be a 5 car backup behind you!
