Geez, what a tough loss tonight but an incredible game. I can't believe they didn't call a foul before that last shot!!!

^ Tough tough loss. :/
The season is over. They should just forfeit game 4 and go on vacation tomorrow.
Come off-season Mavs should trade everybody except Dirk, J-Ho, and Terry.

They put themselves in a position to hope for a foul in the last second? Come on. Win the game by putting up some points. Don't rely on that **** at the end. >close thread<

actually.. their attempt was noble yesterday.. Considering they weren't showing up at all the previous games, this was a valiant effort.. The NBA even issued an apology for the ref's inept foul calling ability... That is really a sour end to a great effort by the Mavs.

I applaud them.. They were attempting to get back in the series by any means neccessary. I'm not even a mavs fan (duh), but I recognize people working hard. Unfortunately no one's ever come back from 3-0 so this ref DID cost them the series..

Mind you, this is the same ref that didn't call the foul on D-Fish when he fouled Brent Barry on the 3 point line last year in the playoffs. This dude has a history of not calling important fouls..

^^Yup, Mavs played a great game and were ahead by 2 with 6.5 seconds on the clock. They didn't put themselves in a position to hope for a foul, like twalls said it WAS a foul and was simply not called and so Carmelo Anthony stepped away from the foul and nailed a three pointer to leave 1 sec on the clock ... it shouldn't have gone down that way. The rest of the game was reff'ed very well before that for the most part.

^ Yup, Dirk played like he was on a mission to not let the "Mavs get swept in the playoffs the 1st time ever", in his presence. It could have been 2-2 right now... ah well.
Playing in Denver is gona be a whole different ball game, but they survived a sweep.
