Since no one is really putting this together, I will host this one. If we need to have a another one afterwards, we can have it at G35Man's house or parent's house. So sign up below. Anyone can show whether you need work done or just want to help out. Everyone has something to learn.

Here is the map and address to my house.

Just remember to bring food and jack stands or ramps. I have a shopvac and a lot of tools and one large jack, detail/cleaning supplies and extra lighting. And I only have one creeper so if someone else has one, be sure to bring it. Let's make this at 8am so we can try to get everyone done. First few cars get the good spots!

1. TXaaron / small dent repair, debadge & scratch touch up, spring install
2. hound138 / back bumper touchup, small ding repair
3. toeknee / dent repair, touchup, ground wire install, clock bulb install
4. E-BAN / touchups
5. g35driver76039 / front bumper clear touchup
6. eah026000 / two door dings
7. Heat / minor dents, overlay install
8. bmoon_007 / rear coilover adjustment
9. GCoupe35 / spacer, front lip, spring install
10. F5TG35 / couple parts
11. syshs / bum around and drink!
12. Treyzx / wheels
13. llut5at

ummmm.....actually some of the best dragsters are auto's and most drag cars have AT's. Two words. Stall Converter. I have seen many a high hp 6mts get beat by AT's. You cant outshift a computer but it sure is fun to try.

you are kind of correct... though it shifts for you, you still tell it when...

hell, many still have clutches...

and drag cars don't count... most are single gear anyway... maybe two gears. haha

You can still shift manually in an auto. That is where technology is at. Paddle shifters, though I never use them. You gain the advantages of both a manual and automatic except not the gas mileage.
