2009 KRLD Restaurant Week
2009 KRLD Restaurant Week
This year's Restaurant Week - when more than 130 restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe meals for $35 to raise funds for the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope Home - will be August 17 through August 23. A number of participating restaurants are extending the promotion for an extra week (August 24 through August 30) or two (August 24 through September 6).
Also this year, diners can experience KRLD Restaurant Week before anyone else during Restaurant Week Preview. From August 14 through August 16, three-course meals will be offered for $40, which also includes a specialty cocktail made with either 10 Cane Rum or Grand Marnier.
The Central Market Fourth Course will be offered again this year. Central Market shoppers who spend $25 or more will receive gift certificates (while supplies last) that they can exchange at participating Restaurant Week restaurants for an additional course. Certificates will be accepted from August 14 through September 6.
For Restaurant Week, the preview and the extensions, ordering off the regular menu is not included in this special price. Tax, gratuity and drinks are also not included. Reservations are required, and availability is limited. When calling a restaurant, be sure to request a Restaurant Week reservation.
