Yeah man.. off camera flash is the SHIZZZZNIT!!! I can't even shoot anymore w/out external flash at least.. Ambient light doesn't do it for me anymore.. I have to have control. Even talked Waijai into experimenting w/ flash..
^ I think it came out perfect! I love how you even have the shadow of the green hulk on the desk... very well done indeed.
On your next shoot, you should make the size of the background things proportionate to the toy hulks, so that it looks more realistic.

I can't remember the last time I took a picture without some sort of flash (on or off camera).
Thanks Yash.. That's the thing.. I want them to look like they're fighting in random places around my office.. I want them to look like toys.. But battling toys.. Like they have their own adventures/wars when no one's around.. I have a pretty kewl idea for this, but I'd rather show it than talk about it.. more to come..
Yeah man.. seeing some of your photos are what prompted me to make the jump into external and strobist.. When it gets nice out, I plan to tackle the car.. Plan to get some gels too..Just upping my arsenal and practicing techniques.
