Teted it out today and its not so good with the G. It can't pick up the alternator that well so it doesn't follow rpm's good and at neutral the rpms go crazy. Tested it out on another friend's car, a 98 camry and it was pretty solid. Gets crackles every now and then but once you get a good signal its ok. I would say to not buy it for the G but if you have other cars go for it. You can just use it for your ipod or mp3 player but then again the quality isn't that great unless you have a strong antenna. Still fun to play around with on other cars though!

UPDATE: I took a run with it again today. I emailed the guys that made it and they told me to try keeping the rev higher while it beeps so it sets the idle rpm higher or something like that. It actually works a lot better and sounds pretty good now. Just rev it once for the beep and then keep the rpms arond 2-3k for the second beeps. After doing that it works fine.

that's hilarious...I can only imagine what it sounds like with cars with a custom sound system, maybe even get that highway exhaust drone effect.
