I-35 Highway

What's up with all the pot holes on I-35 going south in between 635 and Loop12 (where Speedzone is). They are KILLER. I had to swerve all over the place to avoid them yesterday on the way to Arlington. I cringed when I hit one, luckily no damage to my wheels. Safe driving guys.

I hit one of those potholes a few weeks ago on 35, but it was one of the smaller ones, no damage too. I know what you mean, there are 2 potholes in the fast lane right before the Loop 12 split going south on I-35. There are a few smaller ones between Forest Ln and Walnut Hill Ln in the slower lanes. I take 114 now going into downtown. No potholes except the bridge on 183 that goes over the E. John Carpenter turnaroud. Damn all this ice and the potholes its causing...

Dude, I went to Irving yesterday and it was like non stop HUGE potholes. It's like the snow/ice really did a number on the latest paving of 35. Huge strips of pavement missing all over. Good thing I was in my SUV.

tell me about it! Just drive around Royal and Hillcrest. Its like a f****** joke. Potholes and 3 inch dips in the road (great for our low profiles). We need to fix up our cities roads.

Even worse, i was getting off George Bush to take a left on Preston (getting killed by the sand in the air) and all of a sudden i had to make a drastic swerve (no one was around me) because one of trucks that dispense the sand for the ice left a large 12 inch + pile of sand that took up the entire freakin lane.. It would have killed my car.. I consider myself lucky..

I am so pissed about this, I just got home after driving down 35 south past 635 and my rims/tires just got A$$ raped by these ginormous pot holes!

Dont I pay road taxes for this mess?! Are they giving money back for this nonsense?

I have no idea how much its going to cost to get these fixed im so sick, I know this is going to cost millions of $$ to get this fixed..

i cried when i saw your post, mach. that shiet sucks bro...sorry you have to deal with that.

35 has always been known for being a crappy highway, but this just seems to be getting ridiculous. i avoid ever using 35 for this very reason.

Thanks man, I had 35 pretty well mapped out as far as potholes, and when I saw the first one I got arond it, then I saw the second one, and knew I was done for. The crazy thing was I remembered seeing this thread RIGHT after the first one...

SOO obviously I will need to see if I can find some one to take this too. Im so sick right now, I know my suspension is all f'd up to Im just going to leave her in the garage until I get my tax return im so irritated about it.
