Infinity vs. Polk

Infinity vs. Polk
i know that this would probably be more appropriate for the A/V subforum, but i'm hoping that someone local has some insight or has these particular speakers currently.
i am trying to get opinions or a comparison between:
Infinity Reference 6030cs (6.5" components)
Polk db6501 (6.5" components)
if anyone has any experience with either of these (or a similar model) please chime in

for a guy who is simply looking to replace the stockers (bose) with something that has more volume and clarity, would you say that the Infinitys would fit the bill? I'm not going for show car here...I just want something that is better than stock. I'm probably not even going to replace the rears initially since i've heard that the difference is negligible at best.

I have Infinity Reference 6020cs speakers in mine and they are just direct replacements for my stock Bose door speakers as well. They simply sound much better than stock.
The Infinity 6030cs you are looking at is rated at 2-ohm (factory head unit rated) and is slightly more efficient than the polk speakers you are looking at (93dB vs. 92dB). The Reference line of speakers have amazing highs for the price so i would go that route. Polk makes an awesome product but i think the Infinity edges it out in this comparison, that would be my choice.
