I'm still rockin a Stock Y pipe, and because it's a smaller diameter pipe going to a larger diameter(midpipe and mufflers on exhaust), I'm getting more back pressure yielding more torque...

But without a doubt, go cats first... That's what I was rocking for a while and was very happy.. should be first priority, hands down. You'll get some HP and torque as well from the cats.

Berks, Kinetix, Crawfords, and Fast Intentions seem to be the most popular.

If you're going w/ something after that, I'd say go Exhaust..

I'm thinking of getting a 350z y pipe, almost had a G37 y pipe but then started reading that the diameter size of the inlets being 1.75" (smaller) than the normal 2" inlets from the cats, actually make you LOSE power.. so I said HECK naw.. I'll wait for a 350z Y pipe, but they're so freaking rare for people to get rid of from what I see, but I hear of them going for as cheap as 50 bucks shipped... maybe I just have bad luck..

To sumarize..
1.HFC
2.Exhaust (if you're NA, then axle-back, just midpipe and muffler)
3.Y-pipe

my .13 cents.

Great info I concur carry on.

I have them as well and even the muffler guys were saying how nicely made they were and if I am not mistaken they are still the most affordable.
