Playstation 3 Died today.. im sick about it

I got the YLOD today after 3 great years, can anyone recommend a local reputable place to get an issue like this fixed?

You can prob fix it your self, I replaced the laser pickups on both of mine with info available on youtube. There are also some neat tricks to get the unit to do a hard reset which fixed a hard drive issue I had on my old 60GB model.

Really??? Do you have any links you can share? I havent taken it in yet as I just havent had the time but im still open to all options.

Call of Duty 2 is the culprit that usually makes the PS3's freak out.

Here's one of them, you can just click on the link at the top of the video screen to get the slower step by step w/description version.

Hidden recovery menu. Instead of watching the whole video, just read the details to get the info you need quicker.

I hope this will help you out!
