well...trade-in value is garbage and I've been getting some ridiculous low-ball offers on private party sales.

So...why not finish the project...right?

I remember you telling me this at one of the Z meets back in the day.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, just the price of a nice diff is a bit much to stomach at once.

guess I need to start saving.

Just wait man - its not pricey when you see how much you've spent on the car already...I know your a deal finder bud - you CAN find a good deal out there. But also do homework - you might find that a clutch diff may better suit your needs..2 way or 1.5 way, clutch, or gears? decisions - decisions.. and if you want to Track your car like you say you do - THIS IS A MUST!

Quaife man - hands down - baller for Auto-x and decent for drifting.. and no chatter when your taking sharp turns (while going slow - like in a parking lot)..however 1.5 way clutch diffs are not so bad these days. My thing that was a deal breaker was the lifetime thing...and I dont have to change the fluid except for the regular nissan required times.. you ever think about getting a final drive? Im lusting for one...3.7 out of the 08 G sedans or the 370.. 4.08 is a bit too much for my blood...even though the felllas at auto-x with them can run circles around my ride..

^ talk to Dick at Kustomz Unlimited.. He's who I got mine through..

Also, be careful that you got the latest firmware w/ your Avic.. I just ordered a SD Card w/ the latest firmware on mine, because the Pioneer AVIC line is notorious for the "black screen of death".. All of a sudden, the screen will go black after the splashscreen for no apparent reason..

That's supposed to fix the problem.. (Installing the newest firmware, version 3)
