I would also highly recommend you get the 6k HID bulbs from Henry. (MrWrong@Statik)

It is where I got mine. I would also pick up some 6k LED 194 bulbs and change out your city lights, so they match your projectors.

also agree that if you're gonna do that, to get the LED bulbs for the city lights.. I removed mine because it just looked cleaner to me. (an example of what it looks like is in my progression thread)

long day today... the sun was out so it was warm enough to work on the G in the garage.

I got it up in the air on my jack stands and went to work replacing the sways and endlinks.
got the rear finished. mainly cause my slip fit exhaust made it take forever, had to remove the whole rear mufflers and such. I'm really considering getting v-band clamps put in everywhere.

also got distracted and took of some underbody braces and took a sledge hammer to them to straighten them out, hopefully the exhaust wont rattle against them anymore.

oh yeah and I knocked out my transgo shift kit. super excited to try it out. took a good bit of my time to figure out how to do everything because there were like 100 bolts and I was trying to keep it as clean as possible.

Wasn't able to drive around on it yet cause its still in the air. I gotta finish the front sways and bleed the damn brakes again. I did start the car up and let it run for a bit to get the tranny fluid moving around to start getting the air out of the valve body. No leaks or codes so thats always good.

ill try to get pics up tomorrow.

Can't use the 8k in your new lights.. They use different bulbs in the 06 lights..

They are, same fitment and all, but the D2S bulbs are for the projector housings and the D2R are for the reflector housings.

Nah.. City lights are the bulb in the HID reflector housing at the bottom.. That's what we're saying replace w/ an LED.. It's different from the turn signal which is behind the lens at the bottom..

I'm probably one of few that will say + 1 to the 8k bulbs. That's what I had on my G. Though the 6k have more visibility....
