I drove my G yesterday for about the first time in a week ... and forgot that my oil catch can is almost completely full of oil and I need to empty it ASAP!

I feel like I'm tweeting about my car lol.

Originally I installed a replica Greddy CC back in April 2008 but it had a crack and couldn't hold a vacuum. I can't remember when I replaced it but probably not long after since the car wouldn't idle correctly with the replica CC.

I replaced the replica CC with a home made version using an air compressor filter from Home Depot and it works fabulous. I thought I wrote up my own DIY when I installed it but I can't find it anywhere. I got the DIY from here on driver.

It's probably been on my G for maybe 18 months but I only drive my G about 3,000 miles a year (I work from home).

Oh ... and I'm FI so that helps push a little more oil vapor out of the PCV

bingo! actually 2 of them ... one out of the PCV and the other that comes out of the drivers side that connects into the intake (or the air filter in my case).

Took off the rear lights to see what I could do to improve the fitment on my CS rear, and determined I need to drill 2 holes into the fiberglass to put 2 screws on either side to hold it the way I want.. Also got my registration for it today..

Drove all over north plano/frisco today.. Went to cars and coffee late, met up w/ R1forever80 to discuss bodywork to be done later this week, went to ikea, took the oldest to his first football combine to get evaluated for his little league team, went to the Nissan Show and met up w/ R1Forever80 and G35man04 and Heat at the show and snapped some pics, then went to the Allen Americans game afterwards (first hockey game ever).. Went to shootout.. And afterwards, got the game puck (was still cold when it was tossed to me).. All in all, it was a GREAT day.
