Its bolted on, you'd have to weld up the holes and get it repainted

Yeah, I wanna eventually get the emblemless from Ionic, not sure what color yet

And yep, there's four bolts holding mine on. I don't plan on modifying my existing trunk *spoiler alert* lol. But yeah, to fix it, the holes would need to be welded up and depending on if the metal warps, will need to have filler and smoothed out, then repainted. Too long of a process to get it right....

It's much easier to just buy a spoilerless trunk.. That's what most folks do rather than go through the trouble of welding and painting the trunk.

Or trade trunks, which I hadn't had much success doing considering there aren't many modded sedans in general. Even had a someone say they wanted to trade then never reply back to texts/emails. That made me consider a different direction.

i got first in my class this past weekend at TMS Auto-x. Granted, my competition was a buncha big cars (Corvettes, GTO, etc.) but it was a huge improvement for me.

The Hankook RS3's were awesome!! so damn grippy. I still have a lot of adjustments to learn on my car... still not as confident on hard turns as I should be. I came 2nd out of all the G and Z guys. Which was much better than the LAST i had been coming.

Should I stay matte black or should I repaint it? Wheels are going on this week so I can move it again.

I was thinking of another matte color or a color with an actual clear coat so I can get some longevity out of this paint..

Matte white, matte red
I havent really thought of what kind of gloss paint I would like.

I dunno how you can deal with a matte color. too much work to clean it, and you cant put any wax on it to protect it.
