Nice now you just need bags to set up that suspension for track use.

lol bags.......Funny guy jack! I have never installed energy suspension bushings so thats a new one.....hope that you dont have any noises with the energy suspension ones. I went with a solid setup for the compression rods since thats where almost all of your movement in your suspension will be at.....having solid will limit that movement making handling alot more precise! if you ordered the compression rod bushings did you order any of the other Lower Control Arm bushings??? Shock tower mount or inner control arm bushing deemo???

Im asking because you have to remove both of those components to swap them out.

yeah they are 3 way adjustable. . I was going to order stillen, but law@strafe stopped responding to my pms. .I didn't hear from him for 24 hrs. . So i hit up charles at b2 and he only stocks motordyne or hotchkis.

Chris, supposedly you don't have to press in these bushings like the other ones. .not sure if that makes sense, or if thats even true. I was going to go with spl solid ones but I found a member that had 20 energy sus. bushings left over. brand new in the box for $60 shipped for a pair.

No I didn't order anything else chris. .But if you honestly think it be a good idea. . I will go ahead and order them. I can just have stephen knock them out while he's under there. I know stephen has changed my translink bushing on the lower control arm...

all bushings have to be pressed in...even the compression rods. You have to press out the whole compression bushing that exist...if nothing is pressed back in then you dont have compression bushings anymore to absorb your suspension.

with that being said I would recommend doing all the fronts at one time and having them all knocked out. you just need to order the shock tower mounts and Inner Lower Control arm from whiteline....its easier honestly with everything is removed.

I will be doing my SPL compression bushings and shock tower bushings as soon as I can get feeling better and I am able to do it.

the ones that I have seen may not need to be pressed but it looks like you just stick a piece of metal pipe in between and then slide in the urethane pieces and just press them down.......not sure I like the sound and look of that.

I just was reading the thread and the guy said that these not need to be pressed in or something like that.

I'll get the exact quote and show you in a second.

EDIT:

Here's what he said. . .

They are just over half the cost of the Nismo hard rubber bushings, and once again, you don't have to have a press to reinstall the new bushings in the arms. IMO, this is the best product available for this particular application, and that's why I bought a bunch of them. You cannot buy just the compression rod bushings from the factory except in bulk. I'm sure that the other "regular" parts dealers that offer them did just exactly the same thing as I did and made a bulk order from the factory. No dealers had them either when I ordered them. The factory was kind enough, though, to fill their dealers bulk orders before they filled mine :-) I ordered these things 2 and a half months ago, and they just finally delivered them to me on Tuesday. I'm not a parts dealer, and this is the only product I have to offer.

I know where you got it from. I dont like the sound of not having to press in bushings that withstand all of the force of your suspension and handling.

you can also pm kyle right here.
