Regardless (see how I quickly change the topic there), I still need to troubleshoot the rear clunking. I just don't have full confidence in them when cornering and such. I also think the stiffness will need to be taken up a notch.

you know I was playin... I want to ride with you and see what this clunking is and see if I can sniff it out... we can adjust stiffness...I want to also see how those MDU's are holding up. I get alot of questions about them and I have no answers..Registered User
Definitely. I will make it happen this weekend (assuming that you are available). I promise to not have a repeat of this past Friday
We will figure this out!

you are correct, you have to press them out. it sucks and its a tedious.. no performance but I go straight when I let go of the wheel, no clunking in the front when taking turns, your not wearing out the translink if replaced.. Whitelines are perfect replacements. IF you dont get them fixed, you can get an alignment and as soon as you leave - its off..Originally Posted by sexyrob

Replaced mine with whitelines the other day. A real pain getting the old ones out. There is a nice diy here http://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-s...translink.htmlOriginally Posted by acidjake75

Cool, thanks for the DIY. Very clear and detailed. Gave me an excuse to go to harbor freight. The funny thing is my old bushing was so worn out the rubber was gone. I used the old metal sleeve as my "Frankenstein socket".Originally Posted by acidjake75

cliffs - not knowing g35 owner buys set of what he thinks are Z springs ($200 bucks!!)
- they dont fit and SELLER gets on my350z asking about fitment
- I post pics of a set of Z springs compared to sellers springs
- seller gives $$ back and I sell my z springs at a great price ($80)
- Everyone is happy - except the seller cause he had fork out the $200 bucks
Thread - http://my350z.com/forum/texas/494240...ocal-guys.html
Its a small world - I wouldnt have hooked up this owner if I didnt roll his fenders and when he showed me the springs - they didnt look right.. Then seller posted up thread...EPIC...
I know TXSTYLE (Marcus), and he is a cool dude. He would definitely not rip someone off on purpose. Seems like a honest (albeit stupid) mistake.Originally Posted by acidjake75
