Must be an oil changing kind of day. I just did mine too. Went back to non-synthetic to see if that helps with the OC.

Conventional oil may help, but changing the weight of the oil you use wont make a difference. Only annoy you with the slugish feeling

 

i think it's your art pipes, you should really get rid of those

 

only way to fix an OC motor is to pull the pistons and put new rings on them... also do a quick hone on the cylinders. But if I were even going to go that far I would just build the block.

For a built lb its not too bad. starts at like 2k

 

yeah, I intend on a built block prob next year so I'm not really concerned about it for now. I did the 10w-40 Mobil 1 Syn and that didn't help with the OC. Was going through about a quart every 2-3 weeks, typically driving pretty hard plus autox. Just put in Mobil 5w-30 super 5000. We'll see if that makes any difference.
