SO fe'd up with the bullsh*t from Crest. Apparently my service advisor, Troy was wrong when he told me Nissan ordered me a long block. Not only does that seem shady/unfair but when i tried to see troy today they told me he was busy. Yet, as i was leaving i caught him by surprise and asked to clarify weather or not they had ordered me a long or short block. It was obvious that he wasn't expecting to see me (despite NEVER answering my phone calls). told me he was "sorry" and that Nissan said they couldn't warranty a long block. Will be following up on him.

Funny thing is.. I had my exhaust and exact same modifications on my car while they replaced my short block last time. Didnt seem to be a problem there...

I am burning oil because i need to replace the upper half of the motor. I already have a new block with less than 6,000 miles. Nissan must have a huge wooden pole up their *** to think ANOTHER short block will fix the problem. Seriously, do you have to be that dumb? tech my heads and upper motor is causing the bad compression and therefore im still going to burn oil.

I told them that i dont mind visiting the dealership every 3,500 miles to get a new short block. They provide a one year warranty on the short block.

I rather wait two years on a set of wheels than have a motor that burns 17mm of oil in less than 1,000 miles.. Not to mention that Nissan is completely obvious about the problem.

I wouldnt blame Nissan quite yet. Crest is one of the wost and most shady dealerships on this planet. Second only to their sister dealership Trophy Nissan. Continue to hound them regularly. Good man for confronting the service advisor. Keep doing it

well i dunno why he would avoid you if its not his fault he shouldn't be avoiding you. i know he probably wants to replace the longblock because he gets paid for that. its probably their dpsm he gives gives the authorization on large items like that. i know mine is a dick and i get mad everytime i have to get authorization. i know when i cant get authorization i hate having to relay that information to my customers cause i get the heat.

we should start a seperate thread for those of you needing new motors every 2 months.

epic fail on spending that much on a car and dealign with this crap. i woulda sold it A LONG time ago, and never looked back.

luckily, everything that goes wrong on my car is my fault, cept that crappy actuator in the door locks and windows.

everything
This is EXACTLY why I HATE dealerships!!!!

New O ring on the left, old one they put in on the right

Obviously you can see the issue... The sh;t for brains pinched it somehow when putting the oil cooler back on.

They aint doing sh't... Ive been calling and emailing and either they never pick up and Im on hold for 20 mins or they email me back some BS scripted email saying they need dealership to make a diagnosis...HELLO I already did!!!

Just replaced it myself, cost like $4 for it. Im done with dealerships, Ive got a $150 credit with Grubbs... taking my car there to have them put in new tranny fluid and thats it NO MORE DEALERSHIPS. All they do is f*ck sh't up
