I just bought a JVC KW-AVX840 double din for the G. It looks pretty awesome but I had some questions I probably should have thought of before I pulled the trigger but I was hoping you guys could help me out even if it is a little late.. So here are the questions:

Where does the SAT radio antena get mounted?
Will my steering wheel controls still work?
Will I have to buy a seperate installation kit or something like that to install it? I already paid for Best Buy to install it once it gets here...

Usually when you get a new deck or screenupgrade from factory deck you will need a dash kit and wiring harness, I know when I got my screen I had to get that, also no you're steering wheel controls will not work till you buy a additional piece to make them work again and make it programmable to and well I let best buy do mine because I work in the magnolia department so I get discounts for working there and I trust those guys with my car since I know them, good luck hope this helps

Dash kit so your aftermarket deck fits in the dash

Best idea is to simply loosen the bolts where the hood bolts to the hinges and just adjust that way. You'd be surprised how much play there is when just loosening those bolts and then tightening them back up. When I installed my CF hood a long time ago I spent almost 45 mins adjusting that damn thing. Body panels suck to line up!
Thanks a bunch man, you were completely right. I just needed to push the hood forward after loosening those bolts and then bolt them back down. My scraping is completely gone but its very SLIGHTLY off center now. It was getting dark outside by the time I fixed the scraping issue so over the weekend I will try to get it a little more centered, even though its barely even noticeable.

I picked up that carbon fiber diffuser someone posted in the craigslist thread today. Gotta spend a couple hours detailing this weekend when I have some time and the sun is out before i'm gonna put it on, but it looks great. Cant wait to get some pics of it
