I have no idea what a good brand is... I just know to avoid 3M. I've never done one, just had a good friend who has done many. I can ask him what he's used. He has had two Vettes and two G's actually.

I will ask. Just to note, you'll want to do more than just the front bumper if you're going to go through with it. No point in only doing one part of the equation.

He said he's used Venture, but is seriously considering switching to Suntech. The general problem is that it will be custom for the front bumper. The fenders, mirrors, and hood should be fine as they're the same as OEM. You MAY have a shot of a template already existing because it's Nismo and that may be common enough. The problem is that you run into a few issues when dealing with a custom setup. First of all, the material comes in different "widths" of bra on a large roll. So, since the material will only stretch so far, you may require a bigger width which gets exponentially more expensive as the rolls get wider. Plus, once you have the material, it has to be "cut on the vehicle" to ensure the fit is good. Most places will tell you that they don't cut/damage the bumper when they do it. And most still actually cut the thing. I know a guy that's VERY good at it, but getting his time is nearly impossible these days.

For a good installer and the material (mostly material), I would expect around $1k. If not more

Its just a matter of how many repaint jobs will it take before the bra pays for itself. Plus, if they have a Nismo template, that cost will certainly drop. Just gotta ask. Never hurts to ask

Just thinking outside of the box..... you can find clear bra kits precut online for pretty cheap. It is the labor that cost alot. Why not practice your self for $100-$150 and see how it comes out. If it has bubbles or any issues it should still protect your paint and then you can peel it off and get a new one under warranty. I would spend $100 and try it before I spend a $1000 or just waste money on resprays every year. Even a professional had a hard time doing my crossfire due to the hood but it still protected the paint and kept in brand new. I got the headlights, fog lights, and mirrors done in chicago. Also thousand is kinda steep i got mine done for $475 after shopping around and twisting his arm. He only does it for dealers but cut me a good price since I paid CASH.

EBAY 3m link

CLEAR BRA LINK G35

CAN YOU SEE IT
