Need some help with SC

Jake said he wont touch an SC install, looking for someone who can, shopping around prices of a transplant from ez's to mine. Got a quote of 1300 so far from ez.

Sent an email to Cobb and Jotech so far, anyone else?

Im willing to help with the mechanical side of things - IE - taking pullies off, intercooler, piping...etc...that stuff is cake

its just when it comes to fuel pump, new injectors, TUNING and shiet like that I dont want to be responsible for - FI is no joke..

Good luck - this can be either a really bad thing or the worse thing you could have done.

JUST GET IT DONE right - no more Kirk06 scenarios please...(im only saying that cause I dont want that to happen to ANYONE elses car- not trying to be a smarta$$)

I did the full Vortech install/removal on my G, fuel pump and injectors are just like any other part except they get wet w/ fuel. Tuning is no joke though, and I would leave that up to the professionals.

GS Motorsports or Kustomz Unlimited can help you with the work.

honestly what would be a good thing is if someone helped me just get my car back to stock. then i can just sell jack my kit and not put price pressure on him, and he can install whenever he gets the chance.

all i would need to get is stock injectors, intake, spark plugs. i think that's it right?

Is your Vortech the V3 with self contained lubrication? If not, did you tap the oil pan or use an oil pan spacer?

You'd also need OEM sepentine belt.

Take off is no problem- hit me up and I will do what I can when I can. I have customers coming over daily though so advance notice is necessary. A little cash and some beer and Im a workaholic - plus nothing beats garage time.

Damn you EZ - if I wasnt in the market for a truck - we would already have both cars in my garage working some shiet out. Priorities take over though. All in good time.

My offer is on the table and Im sure you have my number holmes..

I also have a spare belt - I just swapped out my belts only cause I wanted to - not cause of the wear. I will see how it looks and if it checks out - YOU can have it sir..

Jake

jack, maybe we can go over and help acidjake uninstall it from my car, and then you can get it installed at the shop i told you about (600-700 for install)

jake wont charge anywhere near as much as the shop will to uninstall.

Most of the uninstall and reinstall is easy. Alot of people either try or actually install themselves and leave the belt for the s/c off til they get where its going to be tuned. iD be willing to help aslong as im not busy. I just bout have every tool available to me and most of that stuff is easy except the tunning

DONT...I repeat...DONT go to Joke-tech.

They will charge double the labor to do the install and their work is not reliable.
