Anyone know what the going rate is on a used vq35 motor?

VQ35DE
Small Block $400
Long block $850

VQ35HR
Small Block $600
Long Block $1100

ECU & Trans pricing depending on current availability.

That's the quote I got from a local trusted shop.

Cool I may get in touch with kustomz, Im going to see if rms can do it since we are in the works of trading out services. Will help offset my costs lol..

Ive been looking around for some crate lS2s but dont mind going used either. Neenja whats the shop, I may swap with them if they sell motors too..

by rms do you mean Revolution Motor Sports over in my neck of the woods? If so, they do good work. As for my trusted shop, they are only interested in locating & selling motors for people. sorry no trades, but I did ask him to see what he could get in the lsx flavor.

I looked into doing the v8 swap a while back, but don't plan to keep the car much longer so it didn't make sense to invest even more money. It's roughly a $20k project to do it right and not cut corners.
