Pinstripping Wheel

Hey,

So i just got some new wheels in and I'm trying to find the best way to apply a pinstripe around the edge of the rim. I've searched the forum and haven't found much on pinstripping wheels and I've also talked to some people around DFW.

The wheel shop I talked to told me powder coating wasn't the way to go because they would have to mask off the whole wheel and the paint & body shop I tried just said he couldn't do it (not sure why). So any ideas? Do it myself? or any shops to recommend?

Thanks

spin the wheel on the hub apply a thin brush and let it go to town lol... I know its not going to be cost effective and to get a perfect circle without any kind of groove to go along wont be pretty

You can always go the vinyl route.

I used Vinyl and it works just fine, and takes about 30 min per wheel, looks good, and if you don't like it you can always take it off

Yea I'm reading about it and this seems like the way to go. Do you remember where you got yours?

you could get the beugler pinstriper tool. Dont know how much you want to spend but anyone of these will give you a good clean line all around, and you can choose the thickness. good luck!
