Caliper powdercoating
Caliper powdercoating
The guys at my bodyshop's powdercoater doesnt want to deal with powdercoating my calipers. Anyone know who has done brembos before and wont kill my calipers from the heat?
I would take them apart and buy a rebuild kit (new piston seals, etc.). It is a good time to do it. It is pretty easy to do, and anyone that works with brakes should be able to do it.

+1 - Im actually going to start mine next week. tearing down my 06 brakes and getting them PC'd soon. I will see about posting pics.. Should be super easy and the outcome will be significant. BTW they sell OEM kits at courtesy....I would get them there vs fleabay..

Hey jack, talked to the owner today after he dropped of trixs wheels and asked bout your calipers. He said for all 4 candy blue it would b from 200-250 depending on color and time for sandblasting. Not too bad considering
1. all four have to be sandblasted
2. washed chemically
3. powder coated silver.
4. put in oven to bake
5. spray candy blue while still hot after taking out of oven
6. put back in oven to bake blue
Candy powder coat is just like candy for paint. mores stages
