haha what can i say, got into punk rock in 6th grade (94-95) started listening to Rancid, Offpsring, Blink, and just never got outta that phase. The metal came later, but i like melodic metal, not most of the crap that is called metal on the radio.

haha same here man, i was even at about the same age! i hate to admit it, but i was pulled in by Blink (which isn't bad), but even more so by *shudder* Limp Bizkit. needless to say i have corrected my tastes long since then, but i have been into that genre ever since. i also like some of the more art rock/progressive rock groups out there...

I must getting old. Rancid , Offspring, and Blink 182 are considered punk.. My first show was the Dayglo Abortions in '87. Now that was a punk rock show/riot.

VV, my daughter has some CD's she would like to share with ya.
