Man Ive been thinking the same thing. I saw that 240 as well and its in my price range. I figured since I cant seem to sell my g and get a 6speed I would do this to achieve the best of both worlds.

I really want a 90 and up tt 300zx though. Hard to find a twin turbo one under 2500 though

1 lift doesnt seem so profitable. Especially if you have shopwork to do, which brings in the real money.

Everyone and there dog has talked about opening a DIY garage. Glad to see someone grow a pair and do it. I am glad this is out there for people who have the skill to do the work but no space to get it done at. There is just something about working on your own car that gives me such a high. Feel like I accomplished a big task and it was done right the first time by the book. I might just have to go out there and talk to the owner and check out the shop.

thanks

I don't want to rain on your parade but plz get the VIN and pass it along to me. I will run an Autocheck and make sure there is no salvage title or frame damage. Price seems too good to be true but maybe the seller just wants a quick sale. Of course do all your homework and mechanic inspections before you buy. I am sure if you do actually purchase it you will have Acidjake or G35man04 do a full inspection on it. I would be more than glad to help you out and see what revision tranny it has. Get me the VIN and the Build date on the door jamb and we will get more info on this vehicle. Hit up infiniti to get full service records as well.

Keep in mind at that mileage you can negotiate even further with the seller if maintenance has not been done:

Compression rod bushing
Spark plugs
Belts
Cabin and Air filter
Diff and tranny fluid along with coolant.

Edit: Get maintenance records to show oil changes done on time and check his oil level when you go out to the vehicle. Make sure he does not turn on the vehicle and look for any oil spots or coolant on the ground and check oil level at this time before you start the motor. Make sure to listen to the motor after you have driven it 5-10 miles and got it up to operating temperature and through the RPM range. Then step outside and listen to the motor and see how it sounds, any ticking, knocking or such then you want to investigate. This is a rev-up motor which as we all know is an AWARD WINNING ENGINE.

heh...I don't think I've every heard a VQ35 that didn't tick to some degree. I love it, but it's one of the noisiest engines ever. That said, great advice, even for other used cars.
