jeeze.. I was a sophomore in college walking away from my scholarship.. and starting my programming career.. LMAO!!! I remember people getting kicked out of SMU for not going to class and using the T1 lines we had in our dorms for WAN games of warcraft, quake and diablo.. Yeah the FIRST ones.. LMAO!!

I didn't lose months off my life till Age of Empires came out.. Aw man.. so much time spent playing that game.

Dude.. you serious? Oh I remember funco land too.. I was hooked on getting my games from ToysRUs though.. I never traded my games.. I had CASES of games cuz that's what I got for As on my reportcard.. 2 games per A.. I used to RACK UP!!! I was a Nintendo Power magazine junkie for YEARS!!! Did you go see the movie about competing at the nintendo championships? Man who am I askin.. you were prolly IN IT!!!

 

I went to one of those championships... i remember there was a HUGE blown up Mario standing out front... of course, it was massive to me cause I was a shorty, but still... I wanted to compete, but didn't think my skills were good enough. Mario style games just weren't my strength.

I never had to get Nintendo Power because my friend got it and I'd just read his haha.

 

FTMFW!!!! I remember watching this movie and my jaw dropped to the floor and never came back up until a week later.

 

HAHAHAHAHA oh man....god, the memories that this thread is bringing back!!! I might start crying tears of joy here in a second.

And those tears can only be cleared away with one thing - my Nintendo Track Pad to go along with my Track and Field game!! Did anyone else have that?!
