Just happened to be in the store picking up blank disks and a new flash memory stick on the day of release and picked up a copy for myself.

 

Anyone else having problems with 'paged pool memory' blah blah blah? My system is just over the 'recommended' set up and if I play for an hour or so it crashes, wtf?

 

I haven't had this problem and I have been playing the hell out of it. What are your specs?

 

The only reason why you'd have that problem is because you don't have enough RAM. You wanna have AT LEAST 2 gbs+ depending on your system.


Not going to have the time to play online. Sounds really tempting, but no can doo.. So just got it elsewhere :P. Went through the campaign in like 2 days haha.

 

3.21Ghz amd 64x2 and 2gb ram, nvidia geforce 8600 gt. game only calls for 1gb ram and recommends 2, guess i need to upgrade to 4 even though windows will only let it use 3500 from what i understand? cheap fix but it means i have to GO buy ram haha

 

That's strange.. that should be enough, but that message only comes up when there's not enough memory to use. Maybe you've got other processes going on in the background that you don't know about or something, but i'd still recommend getting another 2 gbs.

And Windows 32 bit only supports 3.5 gbs or 3.25 or whatever it was. You gotta get the 64 bit version then you can get as much RAM as you want lol.

 

well beat the game on hard, going back to do it on brutal now cause I missed some stuff in the campaign.
