oil changin

hey fellas just wondering what kinda oil do you all use cuz i really dont want to take it to NTB since they only will do oil changes on what they carry.

so what do you all use and also i dont have the equipment to do my own so do you all know any places i can go close to the addison area where i can buy my oil say at autozone or any place like that and go to a car shop that will change the oil without having to buy it from them? thanks

what I use is Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 5w-30. Too bad you live very far away from Haltom city, because there's a local shop here that does all of my regular maintenance for a realllly cheap price. I got my motor oil, transmission oil, and rear differential oil changed out on Saturday for 30 dollars labor. Of course I provided all of the oils and the oil filter. Good luck to you buddy.

Bro, hook me up! I'm in Arlington, and could use a tranny and diff service for sure.

Royal Purple. 10 quarts. 5 to flush, then another 5 to fill. J/k

Castrol Synthetic Blend for me. Oh and I would get an aluminum undercarriage just to have the easy access door (feel free to let jokes run in your mind).

let me know whenever. I did a drain n fill on both tranny n diff. The tranny took 4 quarts of Nissan Matic-S ($4.56/qt. at Grubbs Infiniti), and the diff took about 3 pints of Royal Purple 75w-90. Funny, I went to Grubbs Nissan to buy the oil and they wanted $10.88 per qt. and I was fine with that, but they didn't have the in-cabin air filter for G35 so I decided to go to Grubbs infiniti to grab everything. Boy oh boy was I glad that Nissan didn't have the air filter lol.

+ 1 on the Mobile 1.. can normally get 5 quart jugs from Walmart for like 20 bucks or so.. Just get in good w/ the service manager at a Kwik car.. They'll also do just labor work if you bring them materials.

Get the mobil1 (10w-30) @ walmart - they have it for 21 bucks vs 26-30 bucks at oreilly and vatozone.

Get a WIX filter from OREILLY - I believe the part # is 51365 - (or just give them your make and model of your car - but ask for WIX)

Come over and I will do the oil change for you for $20 bucks..Im in carrollton - about 10-15 mins from addison(thats hitting all the stop lights) - I would just stop @ the Oreilly on Josey and GB and then hit up the walmart on OLD DENTON and GB...then head to my place and watch it get done on the fly..
