Hey guys,
I know its been a while since my last post in here. I think i found one for a good deal. Here's the link:
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-car...ent-shape.html

The only thing I'm not a fan of is the wheels. I talked to the guy he said I might be able to get 2k for them, he said he bought the wheels for 4k. He doesn't have the stock wheels either...
What do you guys think? The guy said he would call me sometime today.

If i can get 2k for the wheels, i could put in a little more money and get me a used set of volks/works in the marketplace

I just saw a posting on Craigslist for a set of stock 18 wheels with brand new tires for $700. You could flip those wheels he has and for the mean time roll in the stocks. The car has been posted for sale before and It seems in good shape/condition, make sure you take it to get checked out first before you buy. But I think Its a good deal.

I was going to have my father check it out because he was pretty much a mechanic back in the day.

I know, If i buy the car I'm getting rid of them asap. I just think it's a really good deal. There's also another g35 on craigslist for sale for 15k but it has 60k miles. I'm not looking to spend more than 16k. Has to be 6mt.

Deemo: my dad is a mechanic and my lil' brother is a mechanic for Moritz Chevrolet but he also has a shop by the Kennedale 1/8mile track, I usually have them check out any car i get. I have always had domestic muscle cars, Honestly I don't know where to take a G to get checked out. some1 on this forum should be able to help you. But I believe the seller is a friend of some1 who works for a dealership, if all maintenance is kept and you get the Carfax should be ok

Yeah, I think he's friends with ninja1. The guy says he has all the maintenance records from Sewell Infiniti Dealership in Dallas,TX. It also has extended warranty from there so I think I'm good to go. I just really don't like the wheels, and I don't know what I'm going to do about that situation just yet.

What I would do is get these wheels and sell what he sells you with the car, turn around and get you what you want and then sell these stocks. just my .02cents

Yes, Todd is a friend from work and the car is pristine condition. Runs and drives excellent, no mods done. If I had the funds I would buy it myself. Wheels are wheels, just post them up on Craigslist as others have said and I'm certain they'll sell. Good luck!

Seeing a different one tomorrow, 04 65k miles 6mt. looks nice and clean. He's asking 15k, might be able to knock the price down a little more.

I heard the brembos accumulate tons of break dust, how bad is that?

Hopefully I buy this one tomorrow, I'm excited

They do, but the brakes are better than stock. Dust is a very small price to pay. You can always change the pads out as well for something aftermarket that is more dust friendly.
