Yeah jake I'll give you a call sometime later today or something... I'm way sick right now though. Damn this ****ty weather.

And call me a nub but I'm thinking of grabbing this camber kit if it's still on the market: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/pts/1932489850.html

but what is/do I need a toe bolt? yes, you can laugh but I have no idea if I need that...

Im not gonna laugh bud - Im always game to help out..

The SPC rear eccentric toe bolts offer +/- 3 deg of toe adjustment (an additional +/- 1 deg from the stock eccentric bolt), and will allow most mildly lowered cars to be adjusted to specs. Requires widening the eccentric hole on the subframe (cutting template included).

IF those camber arms are still available - I would try to snag them..offer 80 bucks (cash in hand) then work up from there.

toe bolt helps with toe adjustment since the angle becomes a little wonky when you lower it. You may need one, the alignment guy will tell you if you do.

The ichiba arms come wit toe bolts so might as well install it if you got it. No point in doin it later if u can do everything at once.

I know with SPC they have slightly different parts for the 03-07 coupe and 07-08 sedan.

Edit: I just checked the Ichiba site, and they list the same model for the G35, G37, 350Z and 370Z, so I guess you should be fine.

Sweet! I'm trying to get all of this figured out!

EDIT: Just called Ichiba to double check and apparently all years are the same part # so I am fine, or so they say. So hopefully this will all work out!

ALSO:
these ichibas still scare me... jran, what rear camber kit do you use?
i've been told all I need as eccentric(sp?) bolts but idk how bad tire wear would be w/o a camber kit. did you ever drop it w/o a kit?

Depends on how low you drop, very mild drops only require the rears done, usually you dont need toe/eccentric bolts under 1" i believe.

I use Eibach/SPC rear camber arms. SPC and Eibach are the same thing, and they look very similar to the Ichiba arms you are looking at. I don't see any issues with the Ichiba's if you go that route. Mine also came with toe bolts, but I have not needed them, so I did not install them. I can get my toe in spec without them.

If you lower your car with Eibach springs, the camber will go from around -1 degree on the rear up to -1.8 to -2, or so. This will cause some additional tire wear. With the kit, you can get the rear back to factory specs and prevent some of the wear on the inside of the tire. Getting the toe in spec is what really saves on heavy tire wear, and I think you can do that without the kit in most cases.

It really just depends how much tire wear you can handle. I am used to it, and did not run a camber kit on my 04 G35. Even with the camber kit now, I am still running -1.8 degrees. The other thing is that you still cannot adjust camber in the front without a front kit (I just installed one, and I don't know that I think it is worth it). The front will go from around -0.5 degrees to -1.5 to -1.8, or so, with the Eibach drop. On the front you can pretty much zero out the toe, on the rear you need to keep a small amount on toe in for handling stability (like 0.05).

If you are worried about tire wear, get the kit before you do an alignment. If you are not sure, install everything, get an alignment, and then see if you can handle the tire wear over the next 5-10k miles (in general the rears will wear a lot faster than the front, and that is the reason you see most people only install the rear kit--and the front kit is crappy and $500). Worst case scenario is you will have to buy tires 2-3K miles sooner than you planned. The biggest thing is to get an alignment shortly after you install everything, and make sure your toe is in spec.
