Question Who can help with installs?

What up g's,
I'm trying to get something else on the car before this show on the 11th, and I'm definitely going to need some install help. I just went to PTP and almost got springs there but backed out because they were overpriced and they wanted $400 for the install alone.

I'm either getting intakes (injen dual cai), hfc (berk or FI), or springs (eibach pro + rear camber kit)and would LOVE some help from the DFW community if anyone has knowledge, tools, or a shop to help out a fellow g.

Also, help me decide what I want first! I'm a nub and trying to mod my g tastefully and correctly, which is why y'all are being summoned!

Thanks for the help in advance bros,
sam

I will lower, I just don't wanna pay $400 for install plus another bill for alignment!

But here's the scoop - my 08g35s sedan is my DD and only car, I'm in school at TCU and work for Apple nearly full time so I don't have as much money as I would like to do these mods. I'm wanting to slowly but surely change my g sedan into my beast, but know almost no one out here who will help me out/ knows anything/ will drive with me.

I'm not particularly going for show, I just want to personalize my car and make a few heads turn in the mean time! I want it to be low but not too low (thats why eibach pro) and I do want to be able to hear my g so it's more fun for me [:

I also would love to cruise with a couple of y'all g's but the meets are always when I'm in class or working - so if y'all are ever down, just post something up on these forums!

Either Stephen - R1forever or Jake - Acidjake can do installs

I had Stephen do my coil install and Jake is going to do my brake install while I fix my damn door actuator.

I will sell you my Eibach springs for $140. Mine are off the car, but the fronts need to come off my front shocks to be installed on yours. I have spring compressors, but the Eibachs are a PITA. The install is super easy once that is done; a couple hours of work max. I would offer to do it, but I don't think I have time right now....

Install should not be over $100, or so, from those on here. I have found that getting the car in the air, and taking the wheels off takes more time than doing the actual install.

When will you be back from vacation? I guess I could bring mine down to you to have you pull the front springs off.....

Unrelated to this, but do you think you can get me in sometime in the next 3-4 weeks to touch up a couple things? I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with the lights....

There was an ichiba rear camber kit on craigslist. The rear should b the same for 1st and 2nd gen. Its the front that is different. If josh doesnt mind you could just swap out front suspension instead of taking the spring off and reinstalling.

Cool, I will try to get with you after next Wed. to set something up. I'll send you a text.... Yeah, just need to touch up the rear, and I got a spot on the front lip I want you to do also. If I make up my mind on the lights before then, I may have you do them at the same time, but I will probably hold off until I can really make my mind up (I really want to black out all the trim, lights and roof, but I am still torn).

If Jake or Chris can do it this weekend, I can meet you over there with the springs. You can also do the camber kit later if you want. You just need to do it before you get an alignment. It is not really any easier to install them with the springs, and is super easy. Honestly, you could have whoever does the alignment do it, and it should only cost a few bucks. They take about 5 minutes to install.

I thought about the same thing. Unfortunately, I think the front shocks on the 09 are slightly different than the 08. I know the Eibach springs have a different part number, and I am pretty sure someone verified the shock part numbers were different. I think I would like to keep my shocks if they really are slightly different (my springs are 07-08 G35 sedan springs though....).
