OEM Wheel key - Lost?

Alright, so right after XDC I went and put my OEM 19"s back on (so I obviously had the wheel key at that point). Then, last night I went to take my back wheels off and my wheel key was missing. DOH! I always keep it in the same spot, so I have no idea how it could have gotten misplaced.

My question is - how do I get my wheels off? I still have to tear the car apart one more time just to make sure, but I'm pretty sure at this point that the key is gone. Can Sewell/Crest get them off?

T3K, any input? Jon?

Nice, thanks Jon. Any idea how much a new set will run me since I'm sure I will now have to buy a new set? Or will they be able to sell me another key??

I went through this earlier this year. As already mentioned, the dealer will have a master set. However, when I asked if I could just buy the key, they said no. It was either buy a new set of locks or buy 4 new lug nuts to replace where the locks were.

So, had them take the locks off and just put regular lugs on. Forgot to ask them for my locks back just in case I found the key. Oh well, probably got screwed because I know there are people who lose the key...surely you can order a replacement key!?!?

Trix....your enthusiasm towards Rob's idea is, well, disturbing.

I'm cool with paying for a new set of locks and a key if needed. I would rather have them on the wheels over having just plain lugs. Next time I guess I will just have to be even more careful with my key (which I AM dammit! haha...I swear, it had to be JD and his damn time-release ju-ju coming back to haunt me). Stay away JD!!!!

This has happened to me....twice. When I first bought the car, the key was not given to me. And after my move here from Florida. I decided to rotate my tires before my trip here.

I had to buy a new set when I realized I didn't have the key the first time. And I'm pretty sure my key to the second set is in my parent's garage somewhere lol

But yeah, every Infiniti dealer has a master key. I took mine to Sewell and they put on regular lugs since I did not want to spend another 75 bucks on another set. I doubt anyone would want to steal my 17" stockers right now anyway lol

I wasn't the first owner of my G, but when I bought mine it was missing the key. The previous owner left a key card in the owners manual though, with the locks #. It was McGard, and I ordered a new one from them for around $30 I think. My wife Murano uses a set of McGard locking lugs as well.
