Man that sucks rob. Thats a lot of prep too and you have no choice but to either powdercoat them now or redo it all again. On the plus side those things are massive and probably will help you out tremendously.

It looks like u used an aerosol from the pics. Its been so cold here that it prob did have enough time to cure. Bet if it had been 85 degrees it prob wouldn't have stripped the paint that fast. Ohwell atleast if u take em to a powdercoater that can sandblast em they still can do a 1 day turnaround. Great thing powder is that as soon as its cooled down from bein in oven they r good to go. U should go blue or green. Something to stand out imo

yeah still trying to figure out a good color....

I painted them yesterday, baked them for 20 minutes at 200 degrees and then let them sit out on the counter overnight.

The only thing about aerosols that suck is that they dry, but dont harden. they Mayb able to take alot of heat but that probly at fully cured and the heat from the braking will speed that up. Just at the beginning they will be soft since there is no activator. Pc them hoes noaw. lol Check with patrick at Crosslink. His shop is on by royal lane and 35. He has alot of colors in stock

Haha. Do you know how much that stuff cost. The good stuff is about 3-4k just for the gun and a hopper. The oven is about 5-20k depending on size. Powder runs from about 40-300 bucks for a 5lb to a 50lb box. Easier and cheaper just to pay some one. That doesnt include the sandblaster or burner to burn all the impurities off. I use to work for the powdercoater. The process is simple its just alot of money up front to set your self up. This is somethin that i wouldnt want to cheap out on, cuz once its been powdercoated its alot of work to redo it

Isn't there a chrome powder coat? I think that might look nice and not deter from your scheme.

calipers now at the powdercoater, went with red... kinda boring, but I don't want to clutter up my ride with overly showy colors just yet.

maybe if they were endless brakes I'd make them pop more, but this should be fine with me.
