Yes you can upgrade to the akebonos. The rear calipers are a direct swap but the front you will need the adpaters for the calipers. All our hubs are the same. The g37s are different i believe requiring the brackets.

yeah just need brackets for the front... and you have to remove the dust shields since they were made for small rotors.

removing fronts is just 4 bolts, but the rears are a btch! you have to either A: cut the dust shield out with a high speed cutter which is very loud. Or B: do what I did and get smart on the second one and notice where they tac welded the shield on and drill them out in those locations... then pry it loose and just cut it where its shallow.

Just finished the idler delete. the hardest part was finding the right belt, then making a spacer for the power steering bracket.

my front brackets are ordered but it's going to be around 2 weeks before I get it.

Actually rob a pair of shears works great on the dust shields. Just start cutting and follow it around the hub and it cuts off nicely. Did you find the belt info where i told ya?

yeah kinda, but I wanted a gates belt to match my ac compressor belt, so then began the reverse lookup trying to figure out the corresponding part numbers. That took some time.

I don't have any sheers that would cut through the dust shields they arn't that thin, probably need some air powered ones.

There is so much more I'd like to get done to the G before the show but I think I'm just gonna chill and not rush anything. I always seem to mess something up when I rush. I'm not planning on winning anything with you and jack beside me anyways haha...

do you think the spoiler will be ready or are you pretty busy too?

Ill see what i can do on the spoiler. Dude i cant believe you went through the trouble looking up those parts #s. Autozone carries that belt brand. Orielys carries gates. All you had to do was tell the guy at orielys that you wanted the gates belt that corresponds with the part #. Everything is the same except the first # instead of bein a 5 i thk is a k. Oh what color did you want the spoiler? Im in cali right now. Im hoping to get back thursday. If i do there is a chance i can get the roof spoiler done for ya. but my timing cover is priority. I havent had a change to get everything thing cleaned up and back on.

We all got some pretty sweet rides, in the end its going to be fun. If people wanted to go for the trophies **** you could just buy your own instead of spending 25 at the show.
