^ +1. It would be so much better if the service reps had the same dedication that you do. I think that would help Crest get some of their reputation back. When everyone is already skeptical of dealerships to begin with, it doesn't help that the service reps aren't out there kissing our a$$es whenever possible.

I've been very impressed with the other techs along with T3K up at Crest. If you live in the Plano/North Dallas area and need help, this would be the place to go in my opinion.

Definitely wouldn't say anything against Tek. Never would have a reason to either. The service writers and sales guys are hacks.

This may help explain. Crest is a sister dealership to Trophy Nissan

Truth...we are a van tial corp. Store.....and they also own trophy. Not my first choice, but they offered more money than sewell did when I got hired. Can't really complain. So take it as you will, but I won't be at crest forever. Thinking about moving on to a tuning shop next summer.....pretty sure I would fit in a lot better there anyway.

I'd love to make a similar move but the pay/benefits and stability at a dealership makes me hesitant :/

I take my car to Crest because this is where I bought my car from and so far they been perfect to me. My 37 had a recall for the battery/brakes/seats and being the lucky one without any defects they said told me there were TSB out for my car and did the work on the stop while I never had a problem.

So can't really say anything bad about Crest (plus I get free rental don't have to pay that $10 fee =)). To me Grubbs was the worst.

Blair: I think it was them but they gave me new lug nuts after what I told them or it could of been NTB. Either way got free lug nuts.

VicariousVision: Both times that I went to sewell and grubbs they said there was a $10 fee and the fee included free toll and other bs.

Never paid a fee at Sewell. Hell, I'm not even 21 and I get loaners there. Although I haven't gotten a loaner in awhile so maybe it changed.

No charge for loaner cars at Sewell. Does not matter whether the car is in warranty or not, or whether it was purchased at Sewell. To get the free pick up and delivery for service work or the free car washes at any time without service you must have purchased your vehicle at Sewell.

I have been charged at crest for a loaner when they run out....meaning they transfered me over to Enterprise at the Cadillac side and made me pay for a rental since they didnt have any to give me....I only prefer crest because of TEK and its local....if tek wasnt there I wouldnt trust taking my car back there ever again. when I drop off the car I make sure that my service advisor lets tek do the work.

I have been told somethings at crest before TEK signed on about my car back in the day when it was supercharged that I am not to happy about....what I mean is my car being showboated around the parking lot, excessive driving, and a couple of other things here and there. I wont mention names but I have also been verbally assaulted by a tech there along with physically....not sure I deserved it but I will leave it there without any more details.

Other than that I will say and will stand behind TEK anyday, that he is probably the greatest tek at Crest who has worked on my car and other local members and I would go to him any day of the week.

I have never been charged for a loaner at sewell, even for an oil change, and I bought my car in florida. Also, they have been running out of cars lately and have had to bring in cars from Hertz and they still do not charge you for rentals. My next car will definitely be purchased from sewell bc they have such great customer service.

took my car to Grubbs for the air bag recall

They did the multipoint inspection and said my car had many issues because I never brought it in for service as i do my own maintenance.

They said they checked the transmisson fluid and it was burnt and needed to be swapped and also that the differential fluid was very dark and needed attention.

This is not true, I did a trans flush 3 months ago and the differential 5 months ago.

I asked the service guy what this was about and he said they checked it and determined service was needed on both.

I go out to my car and pull the transmission dipstick and see red; clean fluid.

The same was with my belts, the sheet said they were cracked and needed service. I changed these back in the summer.

Again I go to look at my car and the belts are still brand new.

I dont know if the service guy just pulled stuff since I have never had my car serviced or if they just wanted some sales.
