well if you don't like the color there is always LED swaps....

https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...-swap-___.html

I'm doing this to have an original mod.

it's looks like its gonna be harder than I thought though. apparently this cluster does more through the unified meter and a/c amp than the 05/06 cluster... might have to order that from the g37 before this works.

spend the last 4 hours doing a pin-out to discover this

anything is possible with enough time and effort.

I already found out it's going to be harder than I originally thought.

this cluster talks to other devices in the g37 more than the G35 version does. It has less connections in the back of the cluster.

the G35 version had more direct inputs for things like fuel level and engine temp, and manual mode for down and up shifting.

the G37 version talks to an additional device, I'm guessing it is the part that calculates fuel economy; among other things.

so right now I'm trying to locate the "unified meter and a/c amp" because very little will work without that.

good news is, I found the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) pin on the G35. I know a lot of people were looking for that.

Rob, what is the turn around time to do a cluster similar to what you did for Speedraver? I know, kind of off topic but I'm curious.

The G37 gauge cluster you picked out is an awesome find. You'll definitely be very unique if you can get this thing working. I'll be looking forward to your progress and maybe seeing it in person some day.
