I think if you did a straight thourgh resonator it wouldn't hurt your performance much and I don' think it would add enough back presure to cause your boost to go up very much maybe 1 psi and that's at full boost. I know a local muffler shop quoted me around 220 for the resonator and the install. I would add it to the mid pipe closer the muffler side.

i'm still debating it, but i think i'll just replace my whole exhaust soon, doubt it will be any quieter. Kirk, where is the muffler shop?

It's in downtown Garland called AAA muffler they do good work and are quite resonable on price. I have some slightly used high flow cats forsell, with a extra bug welded in for wide ban A/F gauge.
