good stuff, i was in the bridge program there, greek member, and on the basketball team...used to work in the fitness center...there was a point in time where i could recognize a face out of any crowd there now and go and i'm like damn. lol i only know the employees

damn that's crazy... i remember going and only spending like $2,800 for 15 hours or something like that... $5k is just NUTS!

yea then on top of that man they don't have dorms and you have to pay rent on the campus apartments not for the broke or those not willing to sign their lives away in student debt....chess team got scholarships but not bball players

yea, I was living at home, so I didn't have that problem as well... screw that

and I also only paid for parking my first semester... wasn't worth the crazy cost... I just got one ticket, and then every time I'd park, I'd put the ticket back under my windshield wipers... got away with that for YEARS!

yea i was from out of town and carless, fuked basically...the price of an education is outrageous

UTD is a D3 school.. Can't offer scholarships..

James what's your last name and what years did you go to school there? I was there 96-98 and I played ball too.. I left before the first game though. I went there many years after that though to play pick up ball and intramurals so we might have played against eachother.

Venters, fukushima guy on facebook. I started in the summer of 03 with eric chatham, jason malone, brian burton, frank faber, and all those guys...you used to come in the gym every night when i was scanning cards. Coach butterfield wouldn't let us play intramural but i was always around. We've played together a few times tho.

And they only offer scholarships in chess, are they still the best team in the nation? lol ****** gotta keep a 4.0 average

Lol yup yup, i can't stand that man...coach cook did the right thing leavin. My old point guard travis is the assistant coach now. Crazy how that stuff happens
