being an IT consultant, I have traveled to over 30 clients within US and at least 60% of the IT employees are Indians (managerial and non-managerial).

the distribution seems more like...
60% (of those 40 do - 20 tell) - 40% (of those 20 do - 20 tell)

 

yes, lots of many different cultures... seen it all

and depends on what kind of IT you wanna do... it's a wide industry
