I was all set to hit post on my reply to that thread, when I realized it's not even worth it. Talk is cheap. You actually did some real testing. Props to you, and lets all avoid feeding the trolls

So when it comes to intakes on the G was there anything better than stock???

without tuning I wasn't able to prove any gains over the stock box with a K&N Panel filter.

I have to agree with the my350z guys... resetting the ECU does not make your car work better with the newly installed part and makes a lot of dyno comparisons invalid. But on top of that, dynoing on different days with different conditions, including your car's temps, will give you inconsistent results too, making testing gains for something that has such small gains as an intake even harder to do accurately... unless someone has a lab somewhere where we can set the temp and humidity, tune the car and dyno with each mod, one each day.
