tek_v35, thats what i was referring to indirectly, that i would have you build it, you know, buy you the parts and have you do it, and then pick it up and give you mine when it's out.

I would go the HR HG route if you have to machine the block anyway. It will only cost a little extra, and the HR HG is an improvement. The HR HG and L19 studs should support 600ish HP. The regular APR studs should be fine, but if you plan to go up to 500+ HP, I think a few extra $ there is a good idea to help eliminate the possibility of head lift (the L19's can take more torque-- I know you already covered this Rob, but I am just re-stating it).

03' track... Soon to be race car.
oh.....my bad yo
Dude im retarded right now. So focused on researching stuff for the business im trying to start.
If you need any machine work done i know an awesome machinist. My friend with an evo and my friend with an LS1 powered chevelle have both used this guy...and ive talked to him about the special needs of the VQ he is quite familiar and has worked with several of our engines. In fact im having him build my stroker motor that im going to have balanced to 10k rpm........hes not the cheapest, but i trust him.

im thinking about getting the Z1 stage one rebuild kit (eagle rods and wisco pistons). wondering if i need to chnage the rod bolts to arp? or is that not needed if staying under 500hp ?
