Cool Factory wheel repairing or chroming recomendation

I have a chrome factory 17 X 7.5" wheel that's bent, really bad vibration above 68MPH.
I also ordered a non-chrome 17 X 7.5" for a good price. They offered chrome, but costs almost 2.5 times more.

Trying to decide either have my factory wheel repaired or have the non-chrome wheel chromed.

Anyone have a website or local shop to recommend?

Most places won't do repairs on chrome because you can't chrome in Texas.

If its damaged to the point it needs re chromed they have to send it out of state to be chromed because of pollution laws or something.

I doubt that is true. I know of atleast 2 places that do chroming and ive been to them. They are legit businesses so unless something new has changed i doubt that is real

i've heard of that before, when my dad wanted to get his rims re chromed they said they had to send them out of state because of some pollution issue or something. Another place also told him that when he wanted to do something to his motorcycle, i forgot what he was trying to get done though.

Wheel repair by Adam aka A Start Tire, couldn't fix my wheel, center bore is bent. They quoted me a replacement chrome wheel for $365 plus tax. It would be shipped from California and take 3 to 4 days to make it here.

I called the website that has been trying to locate a non-chrome for the last 3 weeks. I thought that would be easier to find, but apparently not. Asked them about the chrome version and they had 2 in stock , in their Indiana warehouse. I ordered 1 for $247 shipped to my front door, should be here Tuesday or Wednesday.

yeah homie, if the center bore is bent (btw impressive that jacked it up that bad) the wheel is non-repairable. time to move on.
