Audio gurus: need ideas.

any small sealed 10" sub will work. Most only need 1 cube and some even less than that.

the 4080 box is way to much money for what it is

you could probably go to a local shop and have one built for less

There is no way you could get a custom fiberglass enclosure for less than the 4080.. Even if a shop was willing to charge that little I would be very nervous leaving my car with them. A normal custom enclosure runs at least $400 for a very basic design not including fiberglass.

Who needs fiberglass? A good custom MDF box does JUST fine... I have every intention of building my own custom box out of MDF for my truck. Amp rack and all

If you want to keep a good amount of trunk space without losing the spare in our cars its almost a necessity.

However on most other cars you don't.. Ive never had fiberglass anything till I got the G. Never had a need for it and I have had some VERY clean setups in the past.
